  • We recommend that you purchase your tickets online as this will secure your day and time of entry and ensure your admission to the museum. This does not mean that you cannot buy your tickets at the museum ticket office, it just means that there is a possibility of limited availability.

  • Yes, it is possible to buy tickets at the museum’s ticket office.

  • Changes can only be made to online tickets. You can change the date and/or time of your visit on our website in the ‘Tickets’ section. It is possible to reschedule the visit up to 28 days before the first date of the visit. You can only change tickets once.

  • Museum of Illusions tickets are non refundable. Tickets may be rescheduled just before the reservation time, dependending on availability. No-shows will be charged the full price and will not be rescheduled.

  • There is no luxury ticket. The museum offers a family package consisting of two children’s tickets and two adult tickets. Each additional child requires a separate children’s ticket.

  • Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. For information and bookings, please complete the form in the ‘Group visits’ section.

  • The Museum of Illusions has no parking facilities for its guests. However, there are private and public car parks in the area.

  • For visitors arriving by public transport, the nearest bus stops are Plateia Emporio and Plateia Eleftherias.

  • The museum experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.

  • Yes, the museum is wheelchair accessible.

  • Yes, the museum is accessible in prams.

  • No, food and drink are not allowed inside the museum.

  • Admission is free for children aged 0-3.

  • Phone reservations are not available as ticket purchases are made simultaneously through online payment

  • Children up to 15 years old should be accompanied by at least one adult

  • Museum of Illusions Thessaloniki offers a fun and creative experience for all ages. Young children will not encounter anything scary or dangerous, and will have the opportunity to play, laugh and experience the magic that they will attribute to the illusions.

  • Museum of Illusions Thessaloniki does not have a cloakroom or safety deposit boxes. There is limited space at the entrance to the ticket office for visitors to leave bulky items (bags, suitcases) with their own consent, as this area is not guarded.

  • Pets of any size are not allowed in the museum. They are also not allowed in bags or cages.

  • Museum of Illusions Thessaloniki is a private initiative. Free admission is not provided on these dates.

  • Free admission for holders of a personalised free admission card to archaeological sites and museums and for teachers. The visit is free and can be booked by telephone. To receive free entry, the card must be presented at the museum’s ticket office.

  • You can check the museum’s availability in the ticket purchase section of our website. Please note that availability is constantly changing according to demand.

  • The museum is air-conditioned.

  • The museum has no waiting area.

  • The Museum Shop offers a range of educational games, wooden puzzles and souvenirs inspired by the Museum’s illusions. The shop operates according to the museum’s opening hours and is located inside the museum next to the ticket office. Visitors are welcome to come to the shop without a ticket to try to solve the games and puzzles of the museum.
